Professional Standards

Amity Mediation Mediators are regulated by the Family Mediation Council (FMC) and adhere to the FMC Code of Practice.

This means that all family mediation services are delivered by mediators who are either FMC Accredited (FMCA), or Registered with the FMC and working toward FMCA accreditation (FMCP).

In addition to holding Family Mediation Council Membership, all family mediators have a Member Organisation (MO) and are supported by Professional Practice Consultants (PPCs).

Similarly, all civil Mediators are all registered with the Civil Mediation Council.

We hold appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain safeguarding policies and procedures, and comply with FMC complaints and disciplinary requirements.
