Financial Mediation for Married Couples.

Our financial mediation process follows the same format as the Form E Financial disclosure within the court.

The only difference is it tends to be considerably quicker and cheaper than court.

Even if clients cannot reach an agreement, they still save time and money by documenting their issues during the mediation process.

Full financial disclosure creates a complete picture of the marriage’s finances. This document details each participant’s income, lists all marital assets and liabilities, and identifies both parties’ future financial needs.

We use this information to draft the Open Statement of Financial Information, which serves as the working document for your financial negotiations.  This is an easy to following visual plan of everything there is financially.

If the parties reach an agreement, we draft a Memorandum of Understanding that details the settlement and clearly outlines how to divide finances following the separation.

This Document can then be used to create the financial order that makes the agreement legally binding. See below for our consent order service.

Financial Services for Non Married Couples

The mediation process remains the same for both married and non-married couples; however, non-married couples only need to disclose their jointly owned assets and income.

Non-married couples may choose to discuss other assets, when deciding on how to divide assets or child maintenance figures; however, they do so voluntarily for the purposes of mediation
